Last night we had the privilege of presenting the AHS Girls Varsity Basketball winner, Amber Bates, with her Brian Litz Memorial Scholarship Fund trophy and $1,000 scholarship - Amber will be continuing her athletic career in college next year and all of us at the Litz Scholarship Fund wish her the best of luck and congrats again for being voted by your teammates as this year's Litz Winner. 🏀🏆🏀
Last night we handed out the First Place and Runner-Up Brian Litz Memorial Scholarship Fund checks and plaques to Ethan Danek and Colin Smith respectively - Ethan was given a $1,000 scholarship for being voted as the 2023-2024 Litz winner from his teammates and Colin was awarded a $500 scholarship for being voted Runner-Up. We appreciate all the support from everyone in our community to make these scholarship opportunities possible. 🏀🏀🏀

This past Friday night we attended the boys Senior Night basketball game to have the varsity team select their 2024 Litz Award Winner - All 3 seniors (pictured below) received some votes from their teammates. The team ended up choosing Ethan Danek (far left) as their 2024 Brian Litz Memorial Scholarship Fund Award Winner and Ethan will receive the $1,000 winner's scholarship.
